Getting Started with Glider: A Step-by-Step Guide

Welcome to Glider.
The calm, automated layer for managing your crypto portfolio across chains. Whether you're here to explore narratives, optimize yield, or just stop juggling swaps and signatures, you're in the right place.
Here's how to get started in just a few minutes.
Step 1: Get access
Glider is currently in invite-only beta. If you have a code, great. If not, join our waitlist at glider.fi for early access.
When prompted:
- Enter your invite code
- Or click Join Waitlist to sign up

Step 2: Connect your wallet (or sign in another way)
Click Connect Wallet in the top right corner. You can:
- Connect a wallet via your chosen method
- Or sign in with Google, Email, or with socials apps like X, Discord and many more.

Step 3: Welcome to Glider
Once inside, you’ll see a welcome screen. Glider automates your portfolio with:
- Cross-chain execution
- Optimal trade routing
- Time-based or condition-based rebalancing
Click Continue to start.

Step 4: Choose your starting portfolio
You can:
- Select a pre-built portfolio
- Or create your own portfolio from scratch
Each portfolio shows its tokens, allocations, and rebalancing logic.
In this instance, we'll be selecting a pre-built portfolio "Sell ETH at 4k".
Click Select Portfolio to proceed. Then Use This Strategy.

Step 5: Portfolio editor - name + sign
Name your strategy, then sign a one-time wallet transaction (no cost) to activate your vault.
This sets up your non-custodial strategy contract.

Step 6: Fine-tune your portfolio settings
Click Settings to:
- Adjust rebalancing frequency (e.g. every 1h, every 4h)
- Add a portfolio description + tags
- Set privacy or allow forking
This helps others discover or fork your strategy (if you want).

Step 7: Fund your portfolio
Choose your token (e.g. USDC), enter your amount, and click Deposit.
Funds stay non-custodial and withdrawable at any time.

Step 8: Congratulations, you've started your first portfolio
Once funded, click Start Portfolio.
Your strategy is now live!
Glider will handle execution, rebalancing, and monitoring.

View portfolio
You’ll see:
- Portfolio breakdown and holdings
- Rebalancing activity
- Real-time performance vs benchmarks
- Your logic diagram
From here, you can edit, duplicate, share, or explore new templates.

Glider is built for long-term conviction, not constant micromanagement.
No bridging. No switching. No stress.
Just portfolios that glide.
