We've just launched our Referral System!

Excited? You should be.

Here's everything you need to know about how it works, how to earn rewards, and a few important points to keep in mind.

How do I refer a friend?

Inside the Glider app's sidebar there is a new option for Referrals. On that page, you have a unique URL that you can share with friends or on social media.

How many people can I refer?

As of today, your invite can be used three times a day. We're using this limit to help scale the product and test new features with a smaller group of users. This limit will gradually increase over time as we fine-tune the system. At full public launch, we’ll remove the cap completely. Stay tuned!

What rewards do I get from referrals?

You will be rewarded in both Points AND Fees:

• Points: Earn a percentage of the points generated by your referrals.
• Fees: Receive a portion of the fees generated by your referrals.

Note: Currently Glider does not charge fees. You will begin to receive revenue share when fees are turned on (sometime around launch).

How much do I earn from my referrals?

You earn rewards across three referral degrees:

• 1st Degree (Direct Referrals): 30% of their points and 30% of the fees they generate.
• 2nd Degree (Referrals of your referrals): 5% of their points and fees.
• 3rd Degree (Referrals from your 2nd-degree referrals): 3% of their points and fees.

These rewards will accrue daily and be visible in your dashboard soon.

Where can I view my referrals?

Once you have successfully referred someone you will be able to see their account in your referral page. If you click on their profile you can see their portfolios and other information about them including points.

How does claiming the referred revenue share work?

Around launch, we will start charging fees and you will begin to earn revenue share. These rewards will automatically accrue and be deposited into your reserve portfolio as USDC. USDC in this reserve will automatically earn yield, so you're never leaving money on the table. You can always transfer these funds to other portfolios or withdraw at any time. Your assets are always your assets.
